Our Story
Broad Brook Beef & Pork has been part of the Broad Brook community since 1977 when our family first began raising cattle with a simple goal: to care for the land, raise animals responsibly, and produce food we’d be proud to feed our own family.
What started as a small operation has grown over the years, but the foundation hasn’t changed. We’ve remained committed to raising Hereford cattle and heritage breed pigs with a focus on quality, consistency, and long-term stewardship of the land.
Today, the farm is managed day-to-day by Herb alongside his partner Jon with support from family—including Ashley and the next generation growing up around the same fields and pastures. While the faces and responsibilities have evolved, the mission remains the same: to continue building a farm that produces honest, high-quality beef and pork for our local community.
